Tata Motors unveils its 14th Annual Sustainability Report 2017-18 – ‘Shaping India’s Future: Sustainable Mobility, Smart Cities’. Tata Motors has emerged as one of the eight Sustainability Leaders amongst the global automobile companies on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) 2018. Tata Motors has received the recognition of corporate sustainability leadership within the industry and adjudged in the DJSI Emerging Market Index category, where only 10 Indian companies from different sectors have been featured. This is the third consecutive time that Tata Motors has actively participated in the comprehensive Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) of DJSI. Tata Motors has performed better than industry average in some of the areas such as; materiality, climate strategy, product stewardship, occupational health & safety, supply chain management and corporate citizenship & philanthropy.

Tata Motors Ltd. has won Asia’s Best Report Design at the 4th Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards (ASRA) concluded in Singapore yesterday. ASRA recognises and honours sustainability reporting leaders in Asia and is the highest recognition for corporate reporting in the region. Receiving the award, Mr.Satish Borwankar, Executive Director & COO of Tata Motors Ltd said, “Sustainability is at the core of Tata businesses and at Tata Motors, we have been institutionalizing sustainable practices in every aspect of business and taken up benchmarking initiatives for value creation.
